beaut-i-ful

i just love her simple style and unique design.

2011 Sick Log

Fortunately we tend to encounter only minor illnesses, but I thought it would be interesting to keep track for a year of all of those little bugs our family seems to get... here's hoping it is a short list...

January 2, 2011
husband, me, oldest daughter and youngest daughter--- pink eye
cost: $60 in eye drops

January 6, 2011
oldest daughter--- strep
cost: $15 copay and $10 rx

January 19, 2011
oldest daughter---strep
cost: $20 over the counters and $10 rx
(ENT Appointment made for tosnilectomy)

January 20 &22
middle daughter-- mysterious recurring tummy bug w/fever

February 3
oldest daughter- appt w/ENT, tonsillectomy scheduled
cost: $30 copay

February 10
husband- strep
cost: $15 copay + $10 for two RXs

February 13
youngest daughter- RSV
cost: $11.50 for two RXs

February 15
me- strep
cost: $4.00 for one RX

March 14

oldest daughter- tonsillectomy

cost: $250 copay to dr, $100 down payment @ hospital (more to come later), $25 in popsicles, juice, jello, etc, $20 for 2 RX

April 20

youngest daughter- double e.i. + cough/wheezing + nausea

cost: had a CREDIT at the pediatrician's office! (bwahaha), so no copay (although we may get a bill later for the shot of antibiotic she got), 1 rx to get filled prednisone- $10, already had leftover albuterol from when she had RSV in Feb.

oh, and we also got the bill in the mail from oldest daughter's tonsillectomy... right at $1000... lovely.
