Announcements were made today that President Obama is lifting bans on Embryonic Stem Cell Research and hoping that America will "lead the world in the discoveries it one day may yield." Fantastic. I'm so proud to live in a country that will lead the world in killing innocent human life for the sake of MAYBE, POSSIBLY finding cures to diseases and injuries. Who cares that Embryonic Stem Cell Research has proven to do nothing so far. Who cares that other countries DO have Embryonic Stem Cell Research and have gotten nowhere quick. Who cares that we may one day be turning innocent life into cash crops for pharmaceutical companies. Fan-freakin-tastic.
