quick rant

ok, what is it with cell phones. really. i get that they are so dang convenient. trust me, i'm a mom and i use and abuse my little pink razr.

but do we all need to be SO connected to the rest of the world? when walking into someone's office to talk to them in a business environment is it really necessary to be carrying on a conversation about having your car towed? i mean, i get that having your car towed is a big deal, but don't go into the office until you're ready to talk to the people there. and don't look up and whisper "sorry, i'm on the phone" because, honey, we can see and hear that you are on your phone and it is rude and annoying.

not that i've experienced this in the last 30 seconds or anything. ; )
